Your Facebook Email Address

Facebook have given everyone a new email address, whether or not you want it or not.

It’s based on your user name, and emails sent to it land in your private messages. Which in my case get sent to my primary email address. So I’m missing why I would use the email address. It seems to me to be a spammer’s dream.

I clicked on the “Learn More” button, and landed on the general information page which said precisely nothing about this change.

It was a tweet from @stevejennings1 that triggered me to check my account. Sure enough I now have a facebook email account.

He helpfully provides instructions from lifehacker to fix the problem – watch the video to see what to do.
